Your catch of a lifetime waits off the shores of Haida Gwaii.

The island borders the nutrient-rich continental shelf of North America, making the waters a rich feeding ground. The area is particularly renowned for salmon and halibut - many anglers experience the best fishing of their lives off the coast of this breathtakingly beautiful yet remote region. Most of the salmon heading for their native rivers from California to northern British Columbia, hit the North American coastline in this region. QCI Vacation Home in conjunction with Masset Fishing Adventures and RCMB Enterprises offer you unmatched value with a convenient, all-inclusive accommodation and fishing charter package.

Your package includes:

• Three days of all-inclusive fishing aboard the new Sea West I or Sea West II, including heated cabin and private toilet facilities;
• Four nights accommodation in a comfortable vacation home;
• Quality fishing tackle and bait matched to the target species;
• Cleaning of your catch and storage in an iced cooler;
• Rain tops and rain suits provided when required; and
• The guidance of experienced anglers Bret Johnston or Bob Isaacs.

The goal is to ensure you experience your fishing trip of a lifetime starting with top-of-the-line equipment (including famous “Islander” fishing reels), and ending with fish that is of the highest quality possible, for you to enjoy at home with family and friends for many months to come.

All our boats boast fish cleaning stations so once caught and pictures are taken, we recommend that you permit us to immediately clean your fish and place it on ice to ensure it is maintained in the absolute best “table” condition possible. We highly recommend that your fish is processed by Seapak, a government inspected and locally owned and operated processing plant, catering to the needs of sport fisherman. Your fish will be packaged, flash frozen and placed in transportation ready coolers that will keep your catch frozen for up 72 hours if need be. Seapak also produce some of the best smoked and candied salmon on the west coast and should you decide to have them process some of your fish in this manner, they will arrange to have it shipped to you at a later date.

Transport of your catch to Seapak is included as part of your charter.

Your Accommodation

After your days on the ocean, you'll be able to relax in a comfortable vacation home which includes:

• A fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, ready to cook your catch;
• A deck with a barbeque, perfect for grilled salmon;
• A home theatre system and stereo for evening relaxation;
• Three bedrooms; and
• Complete laundry facilities and one-and-one-half bathrooms.
  The home is located in Masset, the largest community in Haida Gwaii, and is within easy walking distance to shopping, the marina, restaurants, the recreation centre and more.
