Out your front door is the world's best halibut and salmon fishing, easily accessed through our exclusive fishing charter service.

The fishing season runs from the beginning of June to mid September and only a limited number of packages are available, so early booking is recommended. For more information on our fishing - accommodation package, please click here.

Although QCI Vacation Homes offers a complete accommodation and fishing package, one can elect to secure other accommodations and book directly with Bret or Bob for fishing should you prefer.  In fact Bret offers accommodation that is more than adequate but a little more economical for those that do not desire all the “bells and whistles” of a QCI Vacationhome.  Many that visit Haida Gwaii elect to stay in some of the well equipped campgrounds so please click here to visit Hidden Island Resort, the local campground in Masset.

Experience breathtaking natural beauty and rich culture

Haida Gwaii - which means Place of the People - is the traditional name for an extended archipelago of 140 islands bordering the northwest coast of British Columbia, Canada.

Also known in the past as the Queen Charlotte Islands, this unique region is served by plane and ferry, yet remains remote enough to retain its natural beauty. Campers, kayakers, fishermen, beachcombers, hikers, hunters, wildlife enthusiasts, photographers and other adventurers are all drawn to these islands. In 2005, the region's Gwaii Haanas National Park was chosen as the foremost park destination in North America by National Geographic Traveller Magazine.

For many visitors, a major attraction is the renaissance of the native Haida culture, one of the richest, most complex and artistically gifted native societies in North America.
